A TWO DAY'S WORKSHOP ON MYOFACIAL RELEASE


Myofacial Pain Syndrome is a syndrome characterized by chronic pain caused by multiple trigger points and myofacial tightening. The main symptoms associated with this syndrome are tenderness to palpate with referred pain to the other muscle of the body or joints, limited range of motion, weakness and stiffness, sleep disturbances.
These all problems can be relieved by MYOFACIAL RELEASE. And our college IPMS conducted a workshop on FASCIA, Basic Soft Tissue Manipulation on musculoskeletal dysfunction on 11th and 12 th April 2019 at Kannur Medical College. The Resource person was G. S ThiruMoorthi MPT (Sports), Sport Physiotherapist for Men's Indian Hockey Team (2016-17).
